For a long time I wanted to collect works of art of the 20th century in one room and create a museum of contemporary art. But for this a building was needed. Two young architects were allowed to start its development, with the support of two experienced architects, and a palace was built, which received its name from the adjacent avenue.
The concept of the exhibition activities of the Museum of Contemporary Art is based on a personal collection, which allows tracing the main stages of the development of contemporary art. The policy of the museum assumes a gradual change of thematic expositions and the organization of special projects aimed at the possibility of perception of various forms of contemporary art by visitors with different levels of training.

He considers one of his tasks to organize an extensive exhibition program, thanks to which one can see both retrospectives of famous artists of the 20th century and works of novice masters of visual culture, and in addition, attend events within the framework of festivals of various sizes. The museum actively cooperates with young artists, supporting their endeavors. Here you can listen to a course of lectures on the art of the 20th and 21st centuries, get acquainted with the art market and new technologies of visual arts, try to understand the current problems of modern culture.
For adults who are not indifferent to art, he organizes lectures and master classes with leading artists, curators and art critics, conducts excursions to the permanent exhibition and temporary exhibitions, and in the bookstand of the main building of the museum offers visitors its own printed materials and publications on art.
