Holy Cross Neighborhood Mural
iMOCA at Downtown Doggie
July 15th, 2 to 6pm

Join iMOCA for a community paint day on a new mural in the Holy Cross neighborhood!

Sunday July 15 • 2-6pm

Downtown Doggie • 925 E Vermont Street, 46202

iMOCA partnered with the Holy Cross Neighborhood Association, Paramount School of Excellence, and Downtown Doggie to plan, design, and produce a large-scale neighborhood mural. This mural is located at Downtown Doggie, a small business housed in Holy Cross.

iMOCA received initial ideas and inspiration from the neighborhood association, then led a series of design workshops with 8th grade students at Paramount School of Excellence. These students went from brainstorming and rough drafts, to working with professional designers to refine a cohesive neighborhood mural, reflecting ideas from the neighborhood association, students, and Downtown Doggie. Jeffrey Teuton and Yu Zhang of Phanomen Design donated in-kind services to finalize this design. Students began painting in early May, and a mural unveiling is scheduled for Saturday, August 11.
